r/Meditation rules

   No self-promotion

   Self-promotion is generally not allowed - however if it is a relevant high quality offering, then an exception may be made, on the condition that the submitter also be an active subreddit user, participating in comments (not only relating to the submitter's content). This is not a community to build your YouTube subscribers or gain followers on your blog or other media. This includes other subreddits, and "backdoor" means of linking to other sites, etc.

   Guided meditations and videos, blogs, playlists, audio, etc.

   Guided meditations/music meditations/videos, etc., go in /r/audiomeditation Links to You Tube videos and similar will be automatically removed. Our community has repeatedly informed us they wish to keep the subreddit free from such posts.

3. 3.

   Sockpuppet accounts

   Using fake accounts to boost your posts or manipulate conversations is not allowed. Be transparent and engage authentically with the community.

4. 4.

   Low effort and low quality content, off-topic.

   Links to things like generic 'top 10' lists, 'how to meditate!' articles that don't offer a new perspective on a practice, and image quotes will likely be deleted.

5. 5.

   Be nice

   Kindness and respect are key to maintaining a positive environment. Please be courteous and supportive when interacting with others.

6. 6.

   Recruitment

   Don’t use the subreddit to recruit members for external groups, services, or activities outside of this community.

7. 7.

   Limitations on AI-Generated Content

   We acknowledge that AI can assist in your writing, and we're fine with its use for that purpose. However, if the majority or entirety of your post is AI-generated, it may be removed. Our community values authentic, personal contributions, and we encourage users to share their own experiences and insights.
